Because of this responsibility, she has not really encouraged suitors; but now she is ready to have someone on her life.One day down at the bridge, while her brother was off down the creek, she accidentally fell of the bridge wall and into the water. While she tried to get herself up to the top of the water for air, a strong person grabbed her and pulled her up. This was Joseph, who was staying at his sister's farm till he figured out if he was staying in the area.
Thank you was said and then she was off to the doctor to see about some stitches in her foot. Time goes by and each of them can't get the other off the brain.
A very cute love at first sight story. A quick, light read. I love these short stories.
